Boston 1

The departure from Mascenic Highschool on 21st October 2005
was at 7.40 am and from Souhegan Highschool was 8.15 am.
The ride on a usual school-bus took about two hours. The weather was
sunny and pretty warm.
The bus driver dropped us at the Museum of Fine Arts.
A guide showed us the most important drawings in the museum.
After that we had the choice between a “hands-on” project or an extra
free time in the building.
We did the project, so each of us got a sheet of paper and pencils and
we had to draw a picture ourselves or we could copy a drawing from the
museum.
When we had finished, we had some free-time in the museum to walk around
and do a tour on our own.

After the museum we were driven by bus to Copley-Square .We had free-
time for two hours. We had to form little groups of 4 or 5 students in
each group and we got a map of Boston.
We went through Boston Back Bay and took some photos of the city.
My group went to “Prudential-Center ”, a big mall in a big tower in the
middle of the city.
Then we walked around and visited some stores and had a little lunch in
a Fast-Food-Restaurant. The departure was from Copley-Square/Newbury
Street.
We arrived at 4.50 pm at Souhegan Highschool and at 5.35 pm at Mascenic
Highschool.
(We arrived too early , so we had to wait for our host-families to pick
us up)
